Delivery

Do you deliver to my location?

We sure hope so! We deliver all over Australia but some locations are just too remote. Please check our postcode validator or contact us and we'll confirm if we can deliver almost immediately.

Please note due to non-refundable merchant fee's there is a 10% cancellation fee for orders placed that are outside our delivery network.

How long does delivery take?

It depends when you order. Our orders close on Sunday evening at 6pm unless sold out earleir. We break down and pack our meat Monday and Tuesday, triple-check our orders Wednesday and ship to our distribution partner that afternoon. All deliveries will happen on Thu/Fri of that week.

WE'RE CONTINUALLY ASSESSING OUR PROCESSES AND WE'LL BE GETTING THE DELIVERY TIMES SHORTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Please check with us if unsure about delivery, unfortunately merchant fee's we pay on every order are not refundable so a 10% cancellation fee will apply should you choose to cancel your order.

How will I know when my order will be delivered?

When your delivery is being dispatched you’ll receive an sms the day before with a delivery window and a tracking link. If you have any problems please contact us and we can check and update you. It’s important you accurately fill in your contact details when placing your order.

I don’t live in a private house. How will I receive my order?

If you live in an apartment or other type of dwelling please let us know your requirements when ordering in the ‘special instructions’ box. It is up to our customer to have a delivery solution but we’ll ensure our delivery partner follows your instructions.

I've received my box, but something is missing. What should I do?

We triple-check all orders but in the rare event there’s something wrong or missing we’ll do a make-good on your next order. Please contact us immediately so we can check our records and identify where something went amiss. We’ll also make a note against your account.

DO YOU CHARGE A DELIVERY FEE?

Yes there is a one off packing and delivery fee of $16.95 per order for NSW and $21.95 for QLD and VIC. This covers the overhead costs of the packaging and labels as well as transport so that we can keep the cost of our quality meats as low as possible for you.

We do have an option to avoid a delivery fee. All Meat on Repeat orders are shipped for free for the life of the order.

Meat on Repeat is our convenient and flexible way for you to receive your favourite cuts or bulk pack order delivered right at your doorstep, without the hassle of reordering. Choose your delivery frequency—be it monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly—and we'll handle the rest.

Meat on Repeat offers you not just convenience but also peace of mind AND saves you even more money. All Meat on Repeat orders are delivered for free (saving you $16.95 for NSW and $21.95 for QLD/VIC) off every order! So not only are you saving $$$, you'll also never run out of quality meat for your meals. It's a win-win situation.

Joining Meat on Repeat is simple. Choose the item you want on repeat, go to that product page and select the 'Meat on Repeat' option when you're placing your order. Choose your preferred frequency and you're all set. No contracts, no commitments, no fuss.

Credit card is the only available payment option for Meat on Repeat. Unfortunately, After Pay and Google/Apple Pay are not options due to our ecommerce supplier functionality - not our own rules.

Like every other Mudgee Meat delivery, you'll be notified by text message that your order is on its way and when to expect it. So even if you've forgotten about your order, we'll be reminding you to expect it!

Absolutely. We understand that your needs may change. You can easily modify or pause your upcoming Meat on Repeat order by logging into your account and making the necessary adjustments. Please note that changes should be made at least 72 hours before your next scheduled delivery to avoid any charges.

Ordering

We only source and deliver grass-fed animals that are free roaming. It’s a more expensive way to raise stock, but it gives you a superior-quality meat that has higher protein qualities and tastes better.

Grain-fed animals are generally done to ‘fatten’ up the animal and is a less healthy form of farming. Generally, grain-fed animals are also not free roaming.

We do! We have a purpose built facility in Mudgee with a team of local staff who mostly come from farms themselves. We have several qualified butchers, and a few apprentices on their way to their full certification and another team for packing and despatch as well as our administration team to keep the place running smoothly.

Your meat is individually vacuum-packed, then carefully placed in your insulated carton to keep your meat cool and fresh. It is then dispatched in refrigerated trucks until it reaches your door.

Of course you can. But it’s not great value. Imagine a whole cow and you just want the eye fillet. That’s a lot of the rest of the cow for us to sell/use. The true value of buying from Mudgee Meat is the whole/half/quarter beast. We break down and deliver the meat as the beast was designed leaving nothing to waste. You will get you choice cuts, but also some of the less premium (but still tasty) cuts as well. We encourage you to make a stew, or pies, or slow-cooked dishes using some of these utility cuts.

If you have a specific request for cutting or packing when doing a quarter/half/whole beast purchase, feel free to add some instructions and we’ll ensure we’re cutting it specifically as you’d like.

Storage

Your meat will stay chilled for approximately four hours depending on ambient temperature.

If the meat is left in its vacuum packaging, with no air present, it can be kept fresh in the fridge for a couple of weeks, once frozen then properly thawed it will be still be delicious in 12 months or more.

Payment Options

We offer multiple payment options. We support all major credit cards as well as Apple and Google Pay. As our customers receive the best value from our bulk packs and those are more expensive, we also offer Afterpay so you can spread your payments over a longer period of time. If you’re already registered with Shop Pay, you can pay with one click.

Due to our ecommerce platform, Meat on Repeat can only be paid for with credit card.
